Born in Paris, France, I grew up in the Versailles area; and have strong Slavic roots. I now reside in Virginia, USA, with my husband Brian and our rescue cats, Kenobi, Kenzi, and Saurfang.

My upcoming book The Science Is Out There: Scully's Feminism in The X-Files, which stems from my doctoral work at UT Dallas, will be released in September 2021. My graduate studies took place in both Europe and North America; and my expertise is in film and media studies, feminism, science and religion, and storytelling.

I have been a Science Fiction and Fantasy amateur since I was a child. Without Star Wars, my life would be very different. Not only did it inspire me to write my own stories, choose film studies; but this is also why I met my husband and many of my friends.

Storytelling is crucial for me whether for creative fun with fan videos and post-by-post role-playing; or as a professional indie author.

I am currently working on various novels set in two Science Fiction universes; and I am also collaborating with speculative fiction author RA Stone on a multi-generational space opera project.

I also produced YouTube videos for scholars, indie authors, and popular culture lovers in 2020-2021.

After working as a marketing content manager, I now serve as a CX Campaign and Content Manager in a worldwide team.
